| Betsy
Gildroy has lived in Westford with her
family since 1970. For several years Betsy
taught third grade in the Westford school
system, then stayed home to raise her
children. Betsy and her husband C.L have two
wonderful children, Colin and Ann. In
1983 Betsy purchased 20 acres of land from a
friend and farmer, Harry Lamb. By August of
1985 the Westford Regency Inn and Conference
Center had risen and was open for business.
Betsy has owned and operated the Westford
Regency for more than 19 years. She brings
her own personal style to the hotel making
it an attractive second home
for many travelers. Her husband C.L., a
Harvard Business School graduate, provides
financial advice as
required.
Betsy and C.L. pride themselves on the
family environment they’ve created at the
hotel. That warm and caring atmosphere is a
big reason why staff members tend to work so
many years for the Westford Regency and it’s
why many guests return so often, making the
hotel their home away from home. |
